The Col Russell Memorial competition
Tathra Amateur Fishing Club held its first comp for the season on the Sunday of the long weekend.
The Col Russell Memorial competition carries $300 prize money for heaviest sand flathead and attracts a strong field of entrants from all over NSW.
This year saw Max Lee from Culcairn take home the prize money.
Tubby Taylor collected the $200 for heaviest five fish in the boat (excluding shark & ray).
